Cartouche

Ancient Egypt was one of the nations that created perfumes, clothes design, oils, and other beauty treatments. Indeed, the Egyptians placed a very emphasis on their physical appearance. Dress form design was inspired by a cartouche which is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic nameplate, shaped like an oval with a horizontal bar at the base of the oval and a king's nickname written inside of the oval. The oval surrounding their nickname was meant to protect them from evil spirits in life and after death. The cartouche has become a symbol representing luck and protection from evil.

BridgeDna

The bridge DNA chair designed it based on people’s needs. cutting the back and the bottom of the seat surface into a cambered surface, and designed a downward bending at the seat and back to make it comfortable for sitting. For the round connecting plate, Maple as my material so that the overall structure became the visual focus. Succeeded in designing the chair with the spirit of a bridge. It is very light in all aspects: both visually and from a weight perspective.

BOQ

BOQ is an ice bath trolley for serving champagne at receptions. It is made of wood, metal, resin and glass. Circular symmetry organizes objects and materials as an integral part of design. Standard flutes are stowed in corolla, head down, under a white resin tray, protected from dust and shocks. The composition, almost floral, invites the guests to form a circle to taste the precious drink. But first of all, it is an effective stage accessory for the waiter.

Lina

Lina has been developed for Elon Design Furniture, based on research on tubular metal armchairs, which started being designed in the Bauhaus. To warm things up in a Brazilian way, wood was included as part of the structure. The metal continued to be used in the connections for many reasons: to reinforce fragile points, to make the serial production easier, to facilitate any repairs, to create an unique visual signature and a solid but light structure. As a result, Lina Armchair stands out for its sophistication, comfort, elegant combination of materials, and attention to details.

Inspired by the tufted fabric, designer Brooke M Davis takes the form to the next level through material exploration. Terrace

Terrace is a contemporary wooden coffee table inspired by terrace farming practices employed in mountainous regions of the world. Designed to be functional art, the table has ‘terraces’ carved from the wood to form smooth, sweeping contours and platforms at varying heights. The terraces afford the table a beautiful sculptural quality, whilst the platforms offer sufficient space for work or storage. Terrace offers a new aesthetic topology, and a functionally that is unconventional yet familiar.
