Codependent Table

Codependent

Codependent melds psychology and design, specifically focusing upon the physical manifestation of a psychological condition, codependency. These two intertwined tables must rely upon each other to function. The two forms are incapable of standing alone, but together create one functional form. The final table is a powerful example of which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Dhyan Chaise Lounge Concept

Dhyan

Dyhan lounge concept combines modern design with traditional eastern ideas and principles of inner peace by connecting with nature. Planck Coffee Table

Planck

The table is made of different pieces of plywood that are glued together under pressure. The surfaces are sandpapered and threated with a matt and very strong varnish. So the gap between floor and table is very small, but at the same time, it is easy to move. The way the plywood is used (vertical) makes it very strong.

Joaquim Folding Screen

Joaquim

Joaquim is a folding screen designed for homes and other interiors. The piece works in three ways, as a room divider, a bookshelf and a mobile vertical garden. Three hinged sections unfold and retract, so the width can be adjusted to suit the room. The structure is made of tubular carbon steel with a black electrostatic paint finish, and the twenty-one oval shelves are made of pink peroba wood. Reclaimed steel and wood from demolished houses were used to limit environmental impact. The frame and the shelves were made by hand by skilled locksmiths and cabinetmakers.

Clover High Stool

Clover

Clover is a high stool made of solid wood. The form is inspired by the Romanesque arch, and the top surface has the shape of a four-leaf clover. Each leaf is made from small wood pieces left over in the factory, joined in a mosaic pattern that shows the natural grain. The curved legs are first carved by a computer controlled machine and then refined by hand polishing. A special mortise and tenon joint in the center holds the four leaves together and keeps the structure stable. Ash or black walnut is used, with a stainless steel footrest ring at the base.
